Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Line Cook to prepare delicious meals according to menu specifications. The Line Cook will be responsible for setting up workstations, cooking ingredients, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
2. Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
3. Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances.
4. Ensure all food prepared meets quality and presentation standards.
5. Monitor food stock and place orders when needed.
6. Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Line Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
2. Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
3. Ability to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
4. Excellent time management skills.
5. High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree a plus.
